    Our lab mainly focus on the synthesis of semiconductor nanomaterials, characterizations and applications of novel functional devices, including solar cells (hybrid design, involvement of two-dimensional materials and quantum dots), thin-film thermoelectric devices, gas/optical sensing, photocatalytic applications, metamaterials and semiconductor engineering.

    AiRobots Lab. has designed and implemented child-sized, teen-sized and adult-sized humanoid robots separately to attend two well-known international robot competitions: RoboCup and Federation of International Robot-soccer Association. Over the past decades, these robots have won the all-round champion award many times in the HuroCup league.
