“Nanofabrication and nanoanalysis lab ” take advantage of the two specialty of material engineering—“material fabrication” and ”material analysis”, dedicated to make the break through of manufacturing and analysis technologies under micro and nano scale. With combined of professionalism about material and design thicking which professor Haochih Liu had learned in Stanford University, and the experience of working at high technology enterprise before, we can applied the core advantage of materials engineering adequately on the research of state of the art material cross domain, for example: 3D printing , high-entropy alloys, scanning probe, bacterium cell, biomedicine, perovskite lithium ion battery, machine learning assistant of data analysis of AFM, above-mentioned are all the project which are continuing or done before.
During the teaching, professor Liu value the design thinking ability and flexible use of professional knowledge about the material of students. Depending on the experience of multiple times of cross domain development, professor Liu not only teach students about the hard skills of professional knowledge but soft power, which deeply laid the foundation for long term development of student’s career.
