Taiwan is located in the Circum-Pacific seismic rim. The earthquakes become one of the main considerations in structural design. This laboratory utilizes finite element numerical analysis and large-scale structural tests to study the structural seismic response mitigation technology and optimal design of energy dissipation devices for high-rise buildings.
