Intelligent Hyperspectral Computing Laboratory (IHCL), established in 2019, is dedicated to talent cultivation. We have recruited 29 outstanding members from the College of EECS and Miin Wu School of Computing (SOC). In addition to meticulous training on mathematics and software implementation, we also emphasize physical training. That is because we believe that gained strong physical/mental strength must have a positive impact on our academic performances.

Under the leadership of Dr. Chia-Hsiang Lin, IHCL has achieved outstanding research results in recent years, including 10 Journal Papers (IEEE Transactions with IF 5.855~8.793 and 22 Conference Papers. We also received 5 prestigious international/domestic awards at top AI conferences.

IHCL emphasizes on the research of hyperspectral satellite image processing. Our core computational tools include Convex Optimization in statistical machine learning, Deep Learning and Matrix Anaysis. Accordingly, we have achived several state-of-the-art fast algorithms, with applications to advanced international and crossdeciplinary cooperations (e.g., bioinformatics, terahertz technology, metamaterial design).
