Cloud and Network Security laboratory (CANS Lab.) is one of the core laboratories of Taiwan Information Security Center @National Cheng Kung University (TWISC@NCKU). The major research topics of CANS Lab. focus on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure protection, including Cloud and Network Security, ICS Security, Cybersecurity Protection of Infrastructure in Water Resources Domain, Digital Forensics, Network Transmission Management, etc. CANS Lab. emphasizes both theory and practice. We have so far participated in some research projects which belong to the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education, such as "Cybersecurity Protection of Critical Infrastructure in Water Resources Domain", and "QoS & Security Assurance in Integrating 5G standalone and TSN Networks", and the Ministry of Economic Affairs project "The Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Joint Defense Service", etc. In addition, our laboratory members also achieved good results in various competitions, such as "IEEE ECBIOS 2022 Best Conference Paper Award" and many invention patents including "Deepfake Video Detection System and Method", and "High-interaction Honeypot for Industrial Control System and Method", etc.
