Our lab undertakes an evidence-based practice and provides clinical training for future clinical psychologists to engage and inspire students to enhance their logical thinking and clinical judgment. Students can build on their clinical responsiveness and sensitivity through local community services and internships, laiding a solid foundation for their future work. We explore human brain functions from a neuropsychological approach, which includes the different effects of aging and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment, on our brain functions. Our research interest revolves around these patients' neurocognitive functions and neuropsychiatric symptoms, which can be assessed using comprehensive neuropsychological tools to draw a clear neurocognitive profile. We use comprehensive neuropsychological testing tools to detect and construct human neuropsychological profiles, analyze individual strengths and weaknesses, and propose improvement plans.
We look forward to improving the well-being of the elderly in this aging society and bringing a happy and comfortable late life to the elderly.
