The main focus of ACVLab is computer vision and its applications based on machine learning. In recent years, due to the rise of deep learning (so-called artificial intelligence), how to adopt deep learning to improve the performance of various tasks has become the primary issue, such as self-driving cars, robots, various object recognition, image, and video content restoration and protection. The main force of ACVLab is to introduce machine learning/deep learning into different applications of computer vision, and train students with a high degree of practical and application ability in deep learning, with the goal of being able to become a talented person in the industry. The current research focus of our laboratory is divided into two major aspects: research and practice, as follows: detection of fake image/video, an advanced vision system for autonomous cars, low-shot deep learning, enhancement of video and video content, social media information analysis, and medical image signal analysis.
