ABSTRACT
In this study, a single-phase ACZTS nano-powder was successfully synthesized by the heating-up method, and ACZTSSe thin films were fabricated by a non-vacuum process. The effects of different selenization temperatures on the microstructure and electrical properties of ACZTSSe thin films were investigated and the selenization mechanism of ACZTSSe thin films was proposed. The copper and silver in the ACZTS nanograins were first dissolved in liquid selenium, and then supersaturated and precipitated as (Ag, Cu)2-xSe from the liquid selenium onto the surface of the film during the selenization. Then the Sn and Zn were then dissolved in liquid selenium and heterogeneously nucleation on the (Ag, Cu)2-xSe surface, and achieve densification and grain growth via liquid phase sintering and Ostwald ripening. The ACZTSSe thin films with higher carrier concentration and lower resistivity can be obtained after selenization at 500℃ due to the larger grains, good crystallinity, and high density.
